Fajr's Legacy

"You need this more than me."

On June 26, 2010, nine-year-old Fajr Javid tragically drowned after giving her life vest to another child in need. Her profound act of selflessness became our foundation's purpose.

Through the Fajr Memorial Foundation, we work every single day to prevent another family from experiencing this devastating loss - by making water safety education accessible to every child.

Our programs serve diverse communities across NYC & Long Island without discrimination of any kind.
